Good Bye October, Hello November

I actually made a lot of progress last month.

Octoberprogress

I have a finished quilt, a finished quilt top, and two of my 4 x 5 bee blocks done.

The big picture on the mosiac is my Love's Road Quilt. I entered this one is the blogger's quilt festival. I wrote a story about this 12 year UFO. It is entry #437 out of 628 just in case you were curious.

Felling pretty good about my just goals from last month.

October goals:

1. Finish the flying geese quilt. Seriously I know I hate boarders, but it is just one more.
 DONE!
2. Cut out fabric for zig zag quilt.
Did quite finish that one. I just have the big squares to cut. When I say big I mean over 11 inches. I should have finished, but I was avoiding pressing the fabric.
3. Work on my 4x5 modern Quilt Bee blocks. I already have the block picked out, now I just have to go fabric hunting. I only need a few fabric colors that I just don't have in my stash.
Two are done, the fabric is cut for the other 4.

November goals:
1. Finish the zig zag quilt. This is a lofty goal, but seeing as I have a furlough day, Veteran's day, and a week for Thanksgiving break I am going to try to get this one done.
2. Finish and mail 4 x 5 modern bee blocks.
3. Finish another block from the embroidery 101 quilt along that I did not finish by the end of the quilt along. Maybe even start a new block.
