So you ever feel so exhausted that you just can't seem to make yourself do the things you really want to? Well, that is me this week. It has been a very very busy week and I can't seem to accomplish anything once I get home. Plus by the time I get home it is so late that it just seem to be to close to bed time to start anything.
So not one crafty, quilting, cleaning/organizing, blogging task, or photography type thing happened this week. I did attend many meetings and go shopping. Lots and lots of shopping, as we are going on a cruise and needed clothing. I know sounds rough right? Just kidding, but it did take a lot of my time for the other things I really like doing.
I seem to be having a lot of weeks like that recently. My husband suggested that I should make lists. I fear the lists would be so long that I would need one of those really long papers rolls from cartoons that when you unroll it just keeps going, just to write every thing down. I guess I should make a list or a few lists to help me out.
Any suggests on how you make lists? Or how you accomplish all your tasks at hand? Maybe how you break big tasks into little ones that you can accomplish. I would love to hear others thoughts on this.
I hope everyone else has been much more productive than I have.

I'm kind of obsessed with making lists! I honestly don't know how I would get everything done without my calendar and my to-do lists. I have different lists for all different areas of my life: I have a sewing/quilting list, a list of errands I need to do and phone calls I need to make, a to-do list for my various volunteer functions, a list of things that need to get done around the house, etc. Although it sounds like a lot, I think it helps, because when I sit down to sew, I'm ONLY looking at a list of sewing things, and I don't worry so much about everything else that needs doing. And so on.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
I do make a list every morning. That is, I do make a list when I want to get something done. And I do like really crossing things off too! But yes I still struggle with even that :) I always have a hard time prioritising things. Hope next week is better!
ReplyDeleteI have the worst time with this... You are not alone! I feel so un-organized right now. But somehow it always gets done. And my house is torn apart right now because of water/storm damage. Scaffelting in the living room is so chic....
