One of my goals this summer is to make some of the things I have all the fabric for but have never started. On Sunday I finished the first of my summer projects.
I made this little bag.
The fabric is Origins by Basic Gray. I made it from the moda bake shop tutorial for the strippy charm pouch.
It was actually really simple and fun. It was my second bag I made, and it turned out much better than the first. However, I did spend a lot of time unpicking the seams. The first time I put it together, I wasn't careful enough with the fabric near the zipper and I couldn't unzip the little thing. So I used jack the seam ripper and went all the way back step where you stitch down the fabric on either side of the zipper. Even with that little issue, I still finished in a day.
