My Memories Suite Giveaway

I am so excited to have a giveaway for you all today. I let you all know that something fun was coming to celebrate my 5,000 page hit. While I was trying to decide what to do for you all, I was contacted by the people at my memories with an offer to sponsor a giveaway. I quickly debated about this as I am not scrapbooker. I have often pretended that I would like to be one. I love all the pretty paper and the idea. However, I have never actually created a scrapbook, but a digital one, now that might be more my style.

I decided to give the website a look. There were a lot of neat things there and there was a lot the  software said it could do. I became very interested when I saw that you could make cards (which I have done before) and calendars.

As I looked around at their site, www.mymemories.com , I found it to be very interesting and intriguing. I also thought about my own sometimes creative life and realized how often I jump around on what I create. Most recently it has been quilts, smartboard lesson (sorry haven't been sharing those), and food. Then I realized that this software could be useful to many of you out there, as many of you may create in all different ways.

Only after two sessions of playing with the software I was able to basically figure it out, and it was fun. There are also lots of youtube videos to help you learn the software.

The first thing I tried was the function to automatically create a scrapbook. It was fun, but I wasn't in love with that feature. I felt like I had to change to much to make it what I wanted, but it did create a quick scrapbook.

Then I decided to use the software to make a record of my most recent quilts. I have to tell you, that was so much fun! Now I have two great pages that will always help me remember what I have created.

For those of these I used a pre-designed layout. But those aren't all the features. I will show more later this week. However, now it is time for the giveaway.
