There is a new show and tell going on over on amylouwho.com. She is having a mini party for mini sized quilts.
Well, we all know I like making table runners. I have already made two.
Fall
And I am currently working on one.
Winter
But my favorite mini quilt I have made is my mini storm at sea.
It is far from perfect., but it sits on the wall next to my computer and makes me very happy to look at. I mean who could resist tula pink fabric. Not me :)
The interesting thing about this mini party is I have been doing some major research into mug rugs and mini quilts recently. The reason is I am making mug rugs of all of my hubby's office mates. I think it will be fun to have lots of little finishes.

The storm at sea is really beautiful -- great pattern! And so cool to see all your lovely mug rugs, too. Those will be fantastic gifts!

ReplyDeletethose modern mini quilts look gorgeous! I don't think I could get any work done today though if I looked at that site. I would just be thinking about fabric combinations all day. Not that there is anything wrong with that :)
