February Accomplishments

February was not a very craft month for me. I am sure it has a lot to do with hurting my hand and then getting sick for a week.  I have very few accomplishments to note.

I did a lot of cutting for my AMH full spectrum quilt.

And then hurt my hand. I don't think it was related, but it put a damper on my craftiness for about a week.

My only somewhat really finish for the month was 10 Carnival blocks.

Now I just have 10 more to make and I will be all done with them.

I really like the blocks. They are super cute, but not easy to make at all. It is made with the lazy angle ruler and you have match up the blocks just right to make this little bow tie.

Then you cut again, and make the little bow tie again, except the second time it is hiding a bit. Finally you put 4 blocks together and try to match it up to a nice center.

This one didn't even turn out perfect, but I didn't realize it until the close up shot. I would say I need my eyes checked but I think I just got distracted. And let's be honest here, although, I am practically perfect, just like Mary Poppins, there is that word practically in there. Meaning just like everyone else I am not quite perfect.

That is it for accomplishments for the month of February. Luckily it is now March. Hopefully, this month will have more progress :)

  2. What? That looks perfect to me! I like those blocks - I bought the Lazy Angle ruler but haven't used it yet. Good to know it's fiddly!
