Pretty Little Pouch

Last month I decided to join in on the pretty little pouch swap on flickr. This was the sixth round of the swap and I was so excited to get in. This is the first swap I participated in and I found it to be super fun.

 I made this pretty little pouch for my secret partner and it went into the mail today. To make the pouch I use the open wide pouch tutorial from noodle head . To make the triangles I use Marti Michell 3-Inch-to-9-Inch 60 Degree Triangle Ruler. It is the same ruler I am using for my patchwork prism quilt.

Basically this swap works is that you fill out a form to join agreeing to the terms and letting your partner know what you are interested in and create inspiration mosaic. Here is mine.

Once everyone's info is in the swap mama's pair you up with a secret partner. Then it is time to make and mail your pouch off. In return your secret partner makes a pouch and mails it to you. 

My partner, Tina, mailed hers early so I already got my pouch. 

It looks like a small pouch, but surprisingly it fits a whole lot. See all the extras she put in there. Those were all in the pouch. Isn't that just super sweet. Thanks partner! I really appreciate my new little pouch. Now the question is what should I store in it :)

I really enjoyed this swap. Usually I find out about them too late. However, I will have to be on the look out for this one to happen again. There is so much inspiration in the photo pool. I am amazed at everyone's talent. Plus it was really fun a one little pouch only takes a few hours to make.
