September finishes and a new just three goals

I am starting to think that I should be calling this just one goal. Seeing as I keep only being able to accomplish one of the goals that I put on my list. I have a great excuse - been sick, but seriously being sick for 2 months is starting to wear on me. Luckily I think one of the issues has passed literally (darn kidney stones) but then I caught an awful cold/flu. And when I saw awful I am talking about missing a week of work and spend the whole time on the couch, being completely bored out of my mind, but feeling so bad that just walking into my sewing room was too much.

September finishes

All of this means only two accomplishments this month. I finished a Felix's Baby quilt and gave it to the mama to be and I made a little eye pillow. Meaning the only thing I accomplished from last month's list was the baby quilt. I guess at least I did get one thing done.

Things not accomplished: Finishing the last boarder on my geese in the park quilt and cutting out the zig zag quilt.

So lets try this again.

October goals:

1. Finish the flying geese quilt. Seriously I know I hate boarders, but it is just one more.

2. Cut out fabric for zig zag quilt.

New fabric for sample at sew katie jeans

3. Work on my 4x5 modern Quilt Bee blocks. I already have the block picked out, now I just have to go fabric hunting. I only need a few fabric colors that I just don't have in my stash.

Those are the goals for this month. Let see how it goes :)

  1. I hope you are feeling better. I haven't had the energy to walk into my sewing room lately either.
