Goodbye June...

June was one busy month for me. Finishing the school year. Going to Hawaii. Seeing my sister in law get married. And of course it was my birthday month. The month just zoomed by for me and I am actually surprised at how much sewing related things I accomplished. I mean I actually finished two projects.

The first was my Lovely Year of Finishes June goal of making the sidekick tote, which I brought on my trip and it made a great traveling bag.

I also finished a mini quilt for a Season by Hand and wrote a tutorial on how to make the yo-yos and one on how to make the mini quilt itself.

I made a lot of progress on a couple of my work in progress.

Making Progress

I finished all my bee blocks. Finishing on time was a huge accomplishment for me this month. I basically spent all my free time since we got back finishing them.

As for meeting my goals for last month... I actually accomplished most of them. The only thing I didn't do was finish the top for my adorn mini quilt. Pretty good for the fact that I was only home for about 1/2 of the month.
