Hello July

It is the beginning of July and time to set some new goals for the month. I am really proud of everything I accomplished last month.  I am hoping to be just as if not more productive month for July.

For my lovely year of finishes goal I have a commissioned quilt that need to be finished as soon as possible. I mean  I will be teaching a class on it at Sew Katie Jean's , a LQS, later this month. So I should probably get the sample up ASAP so people can see what they can sign up for.

I also have a second commissioned quilt for a friend's first grand child that I need to finish this month.

Jungle Bungle Repeat

The only other thing I "need" to finish is one ticker tape bee block for my Sunday morning quilt bee.

This list is already seeming like a bit lofty goals for me, but I would also like to continue to make progress on my embroidery 101 blocks. Only 2 left to go.

Finish my adorn quilt top.

And at least make some more progress on my modified bento quilt.

Plus there is all the stuff around the house that put off until summer, also know as the teachers summer to do list. The funny thing is haven't even started to make a list yet, but off the top of my head I can think of... clean blinds, shampoo carpets, serious dusting, at least touch up paint around the house (we really need to paint, but that may not be in the budget this summer), paint my sewing cabinet, organize some spaces better... ackkk maybe I should start by making that list today. One of my teaching friend, who is much more organized than I am, actually has a list that she adds to the whole school year and magically finishes all her home tasks every summer. I wish that would happen around here, but that would take away from quilting :)
