Work in Progress #18

Happy Wednesday everyone! Thanks for stopping by to visit and check out what I have been up to. I can sum up most of my week in one word - Cutting!

Completed Projects:
A cute little bag made for a moda bake shop tutorial and Origins fabric by Basic Gray.

Small bag

I finished one my bee blocks for the month of June. It was pretty easy, it was my own.
June Scrap-bee blocks

I asked for the modified bento box block tutorial from Film on the Fridge blog's tutorial.  I just got my fabric for my other bee so I will work on that one next week. I would do it this week, but I am going to see my mom, we are taking a class together. Speaking of that...

New Projects:
Prairie Claw Block - This is the class I am taking with my mom. Click the link to see example of that. I cut all the fabric, placed it in my box and I am ready for my class on Friday.

Sacramento Modern Quilt Guild's Kona Challenge - I picked my block, created a pattern, did a lot of math and started cutting the fabric.

Embroidery 101 Quilt Along - I just recieved the cutest little package from SewLux Fabric, for this quilt along.

Isn't it lovely, and guess what was inside. Yep fabric, fabric I have to cut!

I didn't do anything with these:

Doll Quilt for the Sacramento Modern Quilt Guild Challenge. I just need to finishing binding it. I made a silly mistake in binding it and I just haven't fixed it yet, it really would only take me 5 minutes to finish. I don't know why I haven't done it yet.

  5. Don't you wish you had an assistant? that's what I need. Someone who could read my mind and do the backs of my quilts exactly the way I want them so I could make more progress overall. Love your projects (good luck on Clover and Violet's QAL).
